My Pictorial|Poster Faves

This post does not have any particular theme. These are just pictures that recently caught my attention, so I wanted to share it with you all.

(Please note: none of the images are mine, I got them from official websites and social media sites.)

First is Jike Junyi for the cover of The NY Time Travel Magazine, February 2020 issue. The Chinese singer, also known as Summer is from the Yi ethnic group. For this shoot, she returned home to Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan. img_3703img_3705img_3706img_3727img_3725img_3726She is so beautiful and fierce. I love discovering new cultures, so I did a little research about her people after seeing these photos.

Upcoming Chinese drama – WuXin: The Monster Killer 3 releases striking posters ahead of its premiere. img_3682img_3728The characters look very elegant, and the costumes are beautiful. Also, you all know that I absolutely love the colour red. I remember seeing a few episodes from season one of this series, but DramaFever died before I could complete it.

Up next is Angelababy for the cover of Rayli Magazine, March 2020 issue. Photographed by Chen Man. img_3688img_3685img_3686img_3689img_3687I feel at this point, I can immediately identify Chen Man’s work because of her unique abstract-fantasy style. I love the concepts she comes up with. They seem odd but very befitting. Also, Angelababy looks very much like a princess frozen in time.

img_3566This is a poster for the 2018 Chinese film – Shadow. I haven’t seen this movie, but something about the simplicity and elegance of this shot is stunning to me.

Last on this list is the Chinese actress Annie Sun for Mode Magazine. She also goes by the name Sun Yihan, and I remember seeing her in the 2018 Chinese version of Meteor Garden. img_3721img_3720img_3722She is so gorgeous, and this flower concept really suits her.
